Adizes TopLeaF Program in Tallin, Estonia
9th IHRM Conference, June 12 - 15, 2007
Changes in Society, Changes in Organizations, and the Changing Role of HRM:
Managing International Human Resources in a Complex World
![]() |
IHRM2007 will take place in Tallinn, Estonia, the capital of a country that has undergone dramatic change in less than two decades. Since achieving independence in 1991, Estonia has moved rapidly from older Soviet models of commerce into the modern world of international business.
The modern world is increasingly facing radical and rapid change in the nature of the international social fabric. As broad social changes occur at an ever-increasing pace, organizations must adapt within this context, and workers must change within their own organizations. All of these have major implications for the way we manage the human resources of firms, especially in the international arena, where such complexities become especially pronounced.
In 2007, the 9th IHRM conference will be hosted by Estonian Business School and The Cranfield Network on Comparative Human Resource Management (Cranet).
This conference can deal with any topics relevant to the management of human resources in international contexts and will especially welcome papers and ideas dealing with the nature of change as we enter the 21st century.
One of the purposes of the newly designed Adizes TopLeaF Program is to support the dynamic models of the IHRM function. In cooperation with the representatives of the Estonian Business School, we have organized that each participant of the 9th IHRM Conference will get a sample Adizes TL DVD.
We, at Adizes are sure that the HR community will find our TL Program being very effective and friendly use for their organizations.
