Report from the official ceremony of Dr. Adizes' recognition granted by IBS, Academy of National Economy of the Government of Russian Federation

 

At the end of April, 2007 Dr. Ichak Adizes received his third Doctor Honoris Causa awarded by the IBS, Academy of National Economy of the Government of Russian Federation from Moscow, Russia. The first Doctor Honoris Causa was granted to Dr. Ichak Adizes on December 1, 2005 by the University "Cyril and Methodius" from Skopje, Macedonia and the second was granted by the State University of Management from Moscow, Russia in October, 2006.

The official ceremony began on the morning of April 24th, 2007 with the official introduction of Dr. Adizes to the Academic Council Members. The Rector (President) of ANE, Professor Vladimir Mau, gave the introductory speech about Dr. Adizes’ achievements in management theory and practice and presented the Diploma to Dr. Adizes. After that Mr. Mau put the doctoral gown on Dr. Adizes’ shoulders. The ceremony followed with Dr. Adizes’ presentation on the essence of the Adizes Methodology which ended up with a Q & A part.

The following day, Dr. Adizes, the Academic Advisor of IBS, held a Master Class on the basics of his methodology to the EMBA students and graduates of IBS-Moscow and ANE.

In conjunction with the official ceremony in the IBS facilities, there was an exhibition with Dr. Adizes’ books which were presented to the attendees.
